A Child’s Perspective on Abuse
Facilitator:
Fran Halford
Revised dates for this workshop are now being planned. Please revisit this page or

Cost: £100 BAPCA member and £120 Non-BAPCA member.
Here is what Fran
says about the workshop she offers:
The aim of this two day workshop is to
explore child abuse - emotional, physical abuse and domestic violence - from a
child’s perspective. The training will enable you to develop an understanding of
the impact of abuse on children’s emotional development, to identify the signs
of hidden trauma in a child’s description of their life. We will explore ways to
engage children to tell us of their experiences. During the workshop we will
have an opportunity to explore the role of child protection in working with
children and young people.
